Yushuwan Coal Mine project was approved by document of FagaiNengyuan[2003]No.2186 of National Development & Reform Commission. According to its primary planning of mine construction, stage I is to construct into a coal mine with one shaft, one working face and annual output of 10Mt raw coal; stage II is to construct into a coal mine with one shaft, two working faces and annual output of 20Mt raw coal; and stage III is to merge with Caojiatan coalfield (with geological reserve of 3.2 billion tones) and construct into a coal mine with two shafts and one industry area and annual output of 40Mt raw coal. And its designed service life is 111 years in total.
The area of Yushuwan coalfield is 88.9 km２ with geological reserve of 1.805 billion tones and recoverable reserve of 1.245 billion tones, of which average thickness of the main mining seam is of 11.62 meters, with 1.34661 billion tones in coal resource or reserve, accounting for 74.6% over total coalfield resource or reserve.
The coal quality of main mining seam is prime characterized by low ash, low sulfur, low phosphor, rich oil, high calorific value, and good heat stability (Brand Number: BN、CN, ash content 6.65-8.07%, sulfur content 0.3-0.6%, volatility 35.53-39.43%, calorific value 26.09-26.92MJ/KG). It belongs to non - caking coal and jet coal with characteristic of low ash, low sulfur, low phosphor and high calorific value, and can be used as good steam coal.
Total investment of Yushuwan Coal Mine project is RMB1.359 billion Yuan, of which capital fund is RMB 476 million Yuan. The coal industry square is to be built between Shenyan railway and Yushen highway. It adopts slope multi-level developing method, belt conveyor for underground coal transportation and trackless rubber tire locomotives for auxiliary transportation. One mining panel with one comprehensive mechanized working face and two continuous mining faces is arranged.
