　　The predecessor of Shandong Yanmei Shipping Co., Ltd. is Zoucheng Nanmei Shipping Co., Ltd, which was established in May 1994. It was acquired by Yanzhou Coal Mining Coampnay Limited and Shandong Chuangye Investment Development Co., Ltd., with Yanzhou Coal Mining Company Limited holding controlling shares of 92%.

　　Its registered capital is of RMB 5.5 million Yuan with total asset of RMB 34 million Yuan. Also it owns 6 shipping fleets with 8000 tones each and over 80 chartered or subordinated shipping fleets with each ranging from 6000tones to 9000tones. Thus its annual shipping capacity amounts up to 3Mt. Moreover, its shipping fleets are all positioned and monitored by means of GPD in all direction during shipping.

　　Along with constant development and expansion in recent two years, Shandong Yanmei Shipping Co., Ltd. has achieved shipping volume of 1.85Mt in 2004, and broke through 2Mt in 2005. It was the only river shipping enterprise rated as “Provincial Best Enterprise for Faithfulness and Creditability” by Harbor and Shipping Association of Shandong Province in 2005.
