yanzhou Coal Mining Company Limited-Railway Transportation Department

    Railway Transportation Department was established in 1980 and put into full operation in July, 1st , 1983, which is the first coal enterprise with self-operating railway of Shandong Province.
    Railway Transportation Department owns self-operating railway of 186Km and 28 locomotives, with annual transportation capacity of 30Mt. The railway connects 8 coal mines, 4 factories and 2 warehouses, and runs through 4 cities and 1 district, which including Yanzhou, Qufu, Jining, Zoucheng and Rencheng, with Fucun Railway Station joining with national railway of Yanzhou to Shijiusuo Railway in the north, with Zouxian Railway Station connecting with main railway line of Beijing to Shanghai Railway in the east. As a result, a specialized railway transportation network of mining area, by taking Dadongzhang Gathering and Dispatching Station as center and reaching 15 railway stations, has come into being.
    Relying on science and technology, the railway has basically standardized practices of locomotives washing, supporting and maintenance, modernization of communication signals, mechanization of railway line maintenance. Now it has realized accumulated safety transportation of 20 billion tons/Km and accumulated goods transportation of 298 million tones. No severe human injury has occurred for 23 consecutive years.
