Yankuang Energy is the leader in thermal coal enterprises in China, the largest coal producer in East China, and Yancoal Australia, its subsidiary, is the largest pure coal producer in Australia. It has in-situ resources of 46.4 billion tons (according to JORC standards at of the end of 2024), has produced 34 pairs of coal mines, its approved production capacity is 226 million tons/year, and has maintained a scale of 100 million tons level of coal production for 9 consecutive years. It possesses six potash mining rights in Canada, with proven reserves of high-quality potassium chloride amounting to 1.7 billion tons. It invested in the construction of Caosiyao Molybdenum Mine in Inner Mongolia, with 1.04 billion tons of molybdenum ore resources and 1.089 million tons of metallicity.

The coal products of the Company are mainly thermal coal, coking coal and coal for chemical raw materials, with the characteristics of "three highs and three lows" (low ash, low sulfur, low phosphorus, high calorific value, high volatile content and high ash melting point), and "Yankuang Coal" has been recognized as the "China recognized famous brand" and the "first brand in the same industry".

The sales regions of products are mainly East China, South China, Central China, North China, Northwest China, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Australia and other countries and regions.

Shandong base: It mainly operates 16 pairs of mines, including Nantun, Xinglongzhuang, Baodian, Dongtan, Jining No. 2, Jining No. 3, Yangcun, Zhaolou, Wanfu, Xinjulong, Chenmanzhuang, Lilou, Tangkou, Liangbaosi, Guotun and Pengzhuang, with an approved coal production capacity of 56.15 million tons/year.

Nantun Coal Mine: located in Zoucheng, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 2.7 million tons/year.

Xinglongzhuang Coal Mine: located in Yanzhou District, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 6 million tons/year.

Baodian Coal Mine: located in Zoucheng, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 6 million tons/year.

Dongtan Coal Mine: located in Zoucheng, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 7.5 million tons/year.

Jining No. 2 Coal Mine: located in Rencheng District, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 3.9 million tons/year.

Jining No. 3 Coal Mine: located in Rencheng District, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 6 million tons/year.

Yangcun Coal Mine: located in Gaoxin District, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 1.15 million tons/year.

Zhaolou Coal Mine: located in Yuncheng County, Heze City, with an approved production capacity of 3.3 million tons/year.

Wanfu Coal Mine: located in Juyue County, Heze City, with an approved production capacity of 1.8 million tons/year.

Xinjulong Coal Mine: located in Juyue County, Heze City, with an approved production capacity of 6 million tons/year.

Chenmanzhuang Coal Mine: located in Shan County, Heze City, with an approved production capacity of 700,000 tons/year.

Lilou Coal Mine: located in Juyue County, Heze City, with an approved production capacity of 1.9 million tons/year.

Tangkou Coal Mine: located in Rencheng District, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 2.7 million tons/year.

Liangbaosi Coal Mine: located in Jiaxiang County, Jining City, with an approved production capacity of 3.3 million tons/year.

Guotun Coal Mine: located in Yuncheng County, Heze City, with an approved production capacity of 2.4 million tons/year.

Pengzhuang Coal Mine: located in Yuncheng County, Heze City, with an approved production capacity of 800,000 tons/year.

Shaanxi-Mongolia Base: With an approved annual coal production capacity of 45.4 million tons, it mainly operates 4 coal mines of Jinjitan, Shilawusu, Yingpanhao and Zhuanlongwan, with annual production capacity of ten million tons each. It also promotes the construction of Huolinhe No. 1, Liusangedan and Galutu coalfields and Caosiyao molybdenum mine.

Jinjitan Coal Mine: located in Yulin City, Shaanxi Province, with an approved annual production capacity of 17 million tons.

Shilawusu Coal Mine: located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with an approved annual production capacity of 8 million tons.

Yingpanhao Coal Mine: located in Wushen Banner, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with an approved annual production capacity of 8 million tons.

Zhuanlongwan Coal Mine: located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with an approved annual production capacity of 10 million tons.

Wenyu Coal Mine: located in Ejin Horo Banner/county, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, with an approved annual production capacity of 1.2 million tons.

Shanxi Tianchi Coal Mine: located in Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, with an approved annual capacity of 1.2 million tons.


Xibei Mining: It mainly operates 10 production mines, including Gaojiabao Coal Mine, Shaozhai Coal Mine, Wuju Coal Mine, Tingnan Coal Mine, Yangjiacun Coal Mine, Yongming Coal Mine, Daheng Coal Mine, Wangtian Coal Mine, Bayangole Coal Mine and Liu Yuanzi Coal Mine, and 4 coal mines under construction/intended to be constructed in Youfanghao, Yangjiaping, Mafuchuan and Maojiachuan, with a total approved production capacity of 61.05 million tons/year.

Gaojiabao Coal Mine: located in Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, with an approved production capacity of 4.5 million tons/year.

Shaozhai Coal Mine: located in Pingliang City, Gansu Province, with an approved production capacity of 2.4 million tons/year.

Wuju Coal Mine: located in Pingliang City, Gansu Province, with an approved production capacity of 3 million tons/year.

Tingnan Coal Mine: located in Xianyang City, Shaanxi Province, with an approved production capacity of 4.5 million tons/year.

Yongming Coal Mine: located in Yan'an City, Shaanxi Province, with an approved production capacity of 450,000 tons/year.

Yangjiacun Coal Mine: located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, with an approved production capacity of 6 million tons/year.

Daheng Coal Mine: located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, with an approved production capacity of 3.6 million tons/year.

Wangtian Coal Mine: located in Xinzhou City, Shanxi Province, with an approved production capacity of 1.8 million tons/year.

Bayangole Coal Mine: located in Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, with an approved production capacity of 8 million tons/year.

Liu Yuanzi Coal Mine: located in Qingyang City, Gansu Province, with an approved production capacity of 900,000 tons/year and the planned production capacity of 1.8 million tons/year.

 

Xinjiang Neng Hua: It mainly operates four production mines, namely Yili No. 1 Coal Mine, Yili No. 4 Coal Mine, Liuhuanggou Coal Mine and Wucaiwan No. 4 Open-pit Mine, with an approved production capacity of 30.5 million tons/year.

Yili No. 1 Coal Mine: located in Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang, with an approved production capacity of 10 million tons/year.

Yili No. 4 Coal Mine: located in Ili Prefecture, Xinjiang, with an approved production capacity of 9 million tons/year.

Liuhuanggou Coal Mine: located in Ili Prefecture, Xinjiang, with an approved production capacity of 1.5 million tons/year.

Wucaiwan No. 4 Open-pit Mine: located in Changji Prefecture, Xinjiang, with an approved production capacity of 10 million tons for the phase I, and is handling procedures to increase its approved capacity to 23 million tons for the phase II.

Australia Base: It mainly operate 7 production coal mines including Moolarben, HVO, MTW and Yarrabee and other 3 coal resources exploration projects, which are located in NSW, Queensland and Western Australia, with an annual production capacity totaled 91.95 million tons. Besides, it holds 30% equity of Port Waratah Coal Services, 27% equity of Newcastle Coal Infrastructure Group, and 9.7% equity of Wiggins Island Coal Export Terminal Pty Ltd, among others.
